Our people

We are a team of 20 people with over 100 years of combined experience in plumbing projects.

Some of our people have been with us since we started our business two decades ago. We take pride in being able to plan out and deliver the right solution for any plumbing project. Our top priority is maintaining strong ongoing relationships with our clients.

Our history

PIPS has been a leading plumbing and sanitary ware supplier for over 26 years in the Garden Route.

Supplying plumbing, irrigation, sanitary ware, pool and hardware products, both to the trade and the private individuals. Plett has grown extensively year on year, with many developments being realised in the last 25 years, changing the Plett landscape from the early years.

1997

Ross Henry started a plumbing business called PPF at 4 Jackson street in Plettenberg Bay, operating with a minimum of staff.

2000

The name was changed to Professionals in Plumbing Supplies, and then to what we know it as today, namely PIPS.

2004

The current owners, the Weerman family purchased the business in 2004, with the intent to grow and develop the business further, with additional lines of products and supporting services.

2005

The Bathroom Centre and sanitaryware showroom, was opened at 71 Longships Drive, to cater for the growing demand for sanitaryware, baths and tapware products.

2023

The Bathroom Centre and PIPs retail shop were both moved into the newly constructed specialised premises at 8 Robberg Road to create a one stop solution for all plumbing projects.
